The Nemo All Season Extreme is part of the new wave of sleeping pads that give an incredible warmth to weight ratio. This Long Wide version still comes in at a minimum weight of 580 grams which gives you heaps of room as well as packing an R-Value rating of 5.4 which is great for all four season use including extremely cold snow camping. Saying that it's also great for spring and summer use so it won't be sitting in the cupboard for half the year.
Nemo achieved this incredible warmth for the ultralight weight by combining unique baffle design to limit air movement and "Thermal Mirror" which is a metal film on the inside of the mat. This film is not noisy either as it is soft and supple so it won't wake you up when your roll over.
